Oh. My. Gosh.
I just watched Rogue One and I’m watching the bonus features.
While they’re talking about the characters….I realized something.
Disney made their usual stamp on Rogue One.
Guess who dies in the first 5 minutes of the film?
Jyn’s MOTHER!
I would REALLY love to know what Walt Disney had against mothers.
Geesh.
Unless….
If the mom’s were around, perhaps chaos would NOT ensue?????
Its a theory.
But I would really love to know the reason.
Love
YOUR MOTHER!!!

Monday Greetings!

As you know, I went to see Beauty and Beast on Saturday and it was fabulous.  I loved it and there was only one flaw that I could see:
WHY did they put him in a baby blue tux for the final dance?
I watched the Disney animation version last night – he was in a royal blue tux – much more regal.
I actually winced when I saw him in the movie.  This could take away their best costume Oscar.
Plus….I was the driver, so before I picked up Melody, I put all the crap from the front seat and threw it in the back – my seats have been folded down since I don’t know when.
When I got to Melody’s, she said Jo was going with us, so I had to put the back seats up and then throw everything to the way back.
Bottom Line…it was really nice today to get in a car with no crap in the seats OR the back seats.
The back of the car is a total train wreck – it proved dicey when I went to the store, but I can clean that out later.  After I do the laundry.  After I address the upstairs.  However, I will HAVE to do it before I take all the clothes in the dining room to  The Clothing Center.
We’re on a roll!!!!
Notes: I’ll admit, I wasn’t a huge fan of the light blue tux either. Also, was it me, or did that guy not really look like Matthew Crawley?

As you know, I get very involved with the characters in movies.

I watched “Force Awakens” yesterday.  I finally figured out how to buy “Rogue One” on Amazon and just finished watching that one.
There is definitely a Hitler-esque quality about these fights.
In Force Awakens, the scene with all the storm troopers assembled and then responding to the speech – wow.
In Rogue One, the assault on the beach and mention of ‘retaking’ the beach – definite connection to the assault on Normandy.
We had the real deal in WW2.
Now there is this movie that shows the true destruction capabilities of weapons for those that forgot what happened at the end of WW2.
If all world leaders were required to watch these 2 films, do you think they could understand that wiping out civilization isn’t the answer?  There is no way to contain the destruction.
Or, revive ‘War Games’ – same concept..
Something so simple might save so many.
If only.
Also, its awesome to see the power of so many women in key roles – Jyn, Rey, Leia, Amadala…..wow.  That hasn’t caught on, either, in the grand scheme of things…..more’s the pity.  Women have much to offer and we are often taken for granted or not utilized at all.
Light thoughts for a Sunday afternoon,
Love,
Mom

I HATE imperial walkers.  There are very few things I truly hate, but Imperial Walkers are at the top of that list.
Notes: Clearly we’ve been watching a lot of Star Wars lately.
