Finally!  I knew it was going to rain tomorrow, so I decided to try once again to ignite the burn pile.  I gathered the sticks, limbs and tree parts from the back yard – including behind the barn.  Using my junk mail – I GOT IT GOING!  This is good news.

I really want it to burn down so I can scoop up all the ashes that are quite the pile on their own and distribute that elsewhere.

The neat thing is….some flowers started blooming right by the fire pile that I didn’t plant – but they have expanded and they’re so fun!  They are daisy-like.  I am horrible with flower names, but NO, they aren’t weeds.

I had already walked Lillie, so I decided to get a jump on the new leaves and made 4 passes along the driveway – then…it started sprinkling.

Of course it did…go back to the headline….I finally get the fire going, and it starts raining.

Please send willpower my way.  I fixed dinner, but the freezer is calling me to eat the last ‘Dark Chocolate Carmel Magnum Ice Cream Bar’.   I already ate the other on Sunday and Monday.

I have to weigh in at the doctor tomorrow, so I REALLY can’t have the ice cream!
